Aikido Club Returning Members Scholarship

The Returning Members Scholarship assists students whose financial circumstances would otherwise prevent them from training, with appropriate assessment of need during the application process. 

Administered by the Club Committee with the help of an instructor, the scholarship is awarded annually and will provide:
  • Purchasing a Gi or Hakama
  • Waiving 'Intensive Course' Fees
  • Providing Support to attend related training courses with other clubs

Students who receive an award will be expected to fulfil certain obligations to the club:

  • Commit to regular attendance at training
  • Participate in club demonstrations
  • Attend Club Courses
  • Assist with recruitment and fundraising
  • At all times be an ambassador for the club and role model for fellow students

Applications for the 2016/17 Scholarship are now open and must be submitted by Thursday 15th September.
